We would like to thank the Stafford Eagles for their support and fundraising activities in an effort to help Sophie. Lodge #4488 held a fantastic weekend of events consisting of a Dinner dance, drag queen contest, poker tournament, bingo, and sunday Red Skins tailgate party with a pig roast.

During the weekends events, thousands were raised for Sophie's Medical Fund and people throughout the community came to share in the events.

A special thank you to all the Stafford Eagles for their support, time, and dedication to helping our daughter Sophie.

On May 22nd, Augustine Golf Course hosted the 1st Annual Sophie Grace Golf Tournament. The tournament was planned and supported by Rodney Nichols and his business, "Airport Auto sales."

To make this fundraiser possible people and business sponsored holes, golf carts, and teams. In the first year, we had over 18 teams play and several businesses sponsoring the raffles and give away's.

We would like to give special recognition to the 610 Car Wash for their assistance and car wash give away's, Main Street Grill and Bar for their unconditional support, sponsors and assistance, and Special Forces Association Chapter #90 for their support in launching golf balls off hole two with a M-16!!! Thanks David Gursky!

During the fall of 2008 Cornball Willies Motorcycle Club had a motorcycle run in which they raised money for a charitable cause. After hearing about Sophie and her condition, they came to a fundraiser dinners at the Spotsylvania Moose Lodge and presented our family with a check for Sophie. During the dinner at the Moose Lodge, a steak dinner was hosted in honor of Sophie and proceeds from the dinner was given to Sophie's Medical Fund. It was a wonderful dinner and enjoyable night for our family....thanks guys!!!

On June 6th, 2009 Mike and Gale Simms were married on their boat at Aquia Bay Marina in Stafford Virginia. Following the wedding they held their reception at the Eagles Lodge in Stafford just off Courthouse Rd. where Mike and Gale made an announcement to donate all monetary gifts to Sophie for her Medical Fund. Their generosity was tremendous and we were humbled by their gesture........

Tim's II fundraiser was the idea of Rodney Nichols, owner of "Airport Auto Sales" located in Stafford Virginia. In planning the fundraiser, Rodney dedicated his time and personal friends to include David Snow (A.K.A. Elvis) and the Staff at Tim's II in having a Elvis show and performance during the nights events. From there, the Stafford Sheriffs Office "SOS" rallied with several Stafford and Fredericksburg area businesses and community members to make this a 1st class event. The following businesses and companies were the backbone of Rodney's creation and we would like to thank all of them from the bottom of our hearts. Without Rodney Nichols none of this would have been possible and for this we are truly thankful for all his dedication and hard work.

On August 28th, 2009 Applebee's in Central Park hosted Sophie's Fundraiser. The event was the idea of Chuck Kamm and General Manager Todd Geller who organized the evening and made the night a memrablie and succesful evening. Thanks for all their work and support. During the evening the fundraising was done with the help or Rich Egan, Lacey Hierwarter, Allison Mileto, and other Stafford Sheriffs office family and freinds.

We are currently setting up fundraiser's for this year. Please let us know if you have any ideas or wish to be involved. Currently we are planning another Golf tournament and possible a 100 mile bicycle ride. Please contact us with any ideas prior to hosting any independent fundraiser's.
